Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Landing at Tbilisi International Airport at 12:40. Clear immigration and customs, collect your baggage and meet the company representative in the arrivals hall for the transfer to the hotel. Assistance with check-in at the hotel (standard time 14:00 to 15:00). Free time to freshen up.

Overnight in Tbilisi

Day 2: Two Capitals, Tbilisi and Mtskheta

Breakfast at the hotel. At about 10:00 am, drive to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia and one of the most important spiritual and cultural centres of the country. Visit Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Then visit the Chronicle of Georgia in Tbilisi and see the surroundings. Later, drive to Old Tbilisi and start the walking tour of the ancient capital. The walking tour starts at Europe Square and includes Metekhi Church, the cable car ride up to Narikala Fortress, “Mother of Kartli” and a walk down to the Abanotubani District. Free time there for photos. Walk along Rustaveli Avenue, then shopping at the Flea Market and Gallery Mall.

Overnight in Tbilisi

Day 3: Tour to Gudauri and Kazbegi

Breakfast at the hotel. At about 09:00 am, start the tour of the Mtskheta-Tianeti Region. Visit the Ananuri Complex and Jinvali Dam. Continue to Gudauri and stop at the Monument, a good viewpoint for photos. If weather permits, drive to Kazbegi, change to a 4×4 vehicle and ride up to Gergeti Trinity Church, then return to Tbilisi. If weather does not permit, enjoy free time in Gudauri for snow activities.

Day 4: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out formalities (standard time 12:00). At 11:00, transfer to Tbilisi International Airport (3 to 3.5 hours prior to the departure flight) for flight 3L 715.
